I am a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering student seeking an entry-level position to gain experience from senior engineers on the field of product design and manufacturing while supporting their assignments / projects. In addition to the mechanical engineering curriculum at the University of Washington, I have been actively involved, in a research project aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of off-the shelf 3D printer to support rapid prototyping activities at the ME Lab. This unique experience has given me a practical opportunity to understand product life cycle processes, including requirement definition, trade studies, design and part fabrication and assembly. Furthermore, my capstone project involved extensive 3D prototype modeling using SolidWorks and use of FEA analysis to optimize preliminary designs. The capstone project was conducted in a cross functional team environment requiring collaboration with other team members from other departments (e.g., electrical, computer science, etc.).
